1) A Paintbrush: Painting was what connected my grandmother and I the most before she passed.  2) A Copy of "Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger: My favorite book. I like to keep on the shelf wherever I am.   3) Freddie Mercury Pin: To represent one of my favorite bands. 4) Two Rings: Both are birthday gifts from my mother and my best friend's mother (who is basically my second mother).  5) Cat Figurine: My sister painted a cat figurine to look like my cat from back home. I keep it on my desk while I'm away at school.
